- Install Text Royale on your iPhone.
- Open Messages → any iMessage conversation (blue bubbles).
- Tap the App Store icon beside the text field → Text Royale → pick a game.
- Send your move — your friend taps the bubble to play back.

My friend can't open the game bubble.
Both players need Text Royale installed. Have them tap the bubble and install from the App Store prompt.
I don't see Text Royale in Messages.
Tap the App Store icon next to the text field, then the four-dot “more” drawer. If it's missing, reinstall the app and reopen Messages.
Does it work over SMS (green bubbles)?
No — iMessage only. Both players need iPhones with iMessage enabled.
Do I need an account?
No login, no account, no ads. Win counts are stored on your device.
